European Nightcrawlers (Eisenia hortensis) are 2-4 inches long and the diameter just under a #2 pencil. They can grow to be 3-8 inches long, and are 2 or 3 times bigger than most worms. The euros are certainly better for compost larger material than red wigglers. Euros can tolerate lower temperatures than other worms
European nightcrawlers are excellent bait even in brackish waters. They stay on the hook longer and live longer than red wigglers. Also euros don’t require refrigeration like other baits

Directions for Use
Sprinkle worm chow lightly over worm bin, spray lightly with water to dampen. Be sure worm chow is consumed before adding more Worm Chow. Overfeeding may lead to a sour smelling bin and death of worms.
Storage
Worm Chow should be stored in a well ventilated area.
