A small family business behind every kit

Aardvark's Horticulture Adventure is a small, family-run business making hands-on plant science kits for homeschool families, ESA families and classrooms. Our fruit tree cutting kits use cuttings from our own trees, and we tested the rooting ourselves before offering it to your kids. Every kit comes with a printable curriculum your kids can actually follow.

Can I pay with ESA or scholarship funds?

Yes. We're an approved vendor for Arizona ESA (through ClassWallet) and the West Virginia Hope Scholarship. Families in Utah Fits All, Texas TEFA and Wyoming ESA can find our kits in their program's Odyssey marketplace. In another state? Ask us — we're adding programs.

What curriculum comes with each kit?

Every kit includes a lesson plan and printable worksheets for your grade band (K–5 or 6–12), delivered as a PDF by email after you order, plus a QR code that links to it. It covers the science behind the activity, step-by-step directions, and observation and data worksheets.

What ages and grades are the kits for?

Kids roughly 6 to 16. Most kits let you choose a grade band (K–5 or 6–12), and the curriculum is written for that level.

Do we need gardening experience?

Not at all. The curriculum walks you through each step, and parents don't need a science background.

Is everything included?

Everything for the core activity is included. Each product page lists exactly what's in the box under “What's included & what kids learn,” along with anything extra you'll need (like water or a seed tray).

How does shipping work?

Orders ship via USPS. Some kits ship in more than one package.

What if our plant doesn't grow?

Contact us and we'll help. You can also join our Facebook group, where parents and kids share tips and get support.

Can I save by buying more than one kit?

Do you sell to schools and co-ops?

Yes. Our kits work for classrooms, co-ops and homeschool groups. Contact us for larger quantities.

What is your return policy?

You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Email aleksandr.gordon@gmail.com to start a return.
