Surprise Herb or Vegetable Seed Germination Science Kit – Plant Biology Curriculum & Worksheets
A hands-on life science kit in which students germinate a surprise packet of herb or vegetable seeds and watch a plant begin — the seed coat splitting, the first root emerging, and the shoot rising toward the light. Each kit includes one packet of seeds of our choosing from the 50 popular varieties listed below, so every student gets to discover something new. Most varieties sprout in about 3–14 days, and a few herbs take a little longer, which makes comparing kits a great science conversation.
