Turn any corner of your home or classroom into an indoor grow lab! Kids set up a two-shelf LED grow light stand, start seeds and microgreens under the lights, and watch them sprout and grow day by day.
What's in the box
- Two-shelf grow light stand, 26½" tall × 28" long × 12" wide
- Two 2 ft, 10-watt full-spectrum LED light bars (6500K), mounted 10" above each shelf
- PVC tubing, 5-way PVC fittings and board shelves for assembly
Each shelf holds one standard 10×20 microgreens tray (trays sold separately). Assembly required.
What kids will learn
Grades K–5
- What plants need to grow: light, water and air
- Watch seeds sprout and record the changes in a daily growth journal
- Measure seedling height with a ruler and compare plants on the top and bottom shelves
- Explore what happens to seedlings when they get more or less light
Grades 6–12
- Explain photosynthesis and how plants turn light energy into food
- Observe phototropism: how seedlings grow and bend toward a light source
- Design a controlled experiment that changes one variable, such as hours of light per day, and graph the results
- Investigate how too little light causes tall, leggy (etiolated) seedlings

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
