The Giant Siberian Pink tomato originates from Siberia where it is called Sibirskiy Velikan Rozovyi. This tomato variety will impress you with how loaded the plants are with consistently large, (close to 1 lb.) variably shaped pink beefsteak tomatoes. Seeds are not that easy to come by, so I encourage you to grow it out and save seed for youself and to share. This is considered a pink tomato because the skin is clear but has a pink hue due to the red interior flesh. The plants produce a massive amount of tomatoes at once at about mid-season. Then the plants seem to take a break before putting on new growth and a new flush of fruit. Flavor is sweet and savory with really meaty and juicy flesh. Flavor is delicious: very bright, moderately sweet, a pleasant surprise for such a big one. Regular leaf, tall floppy vines produce well in cool weather. Better suited for shorter growing seasons, Siberian Giant Pink fills the role that Brandywine is known for, but it is arguably better in every way.
