Hawaiian papaya offers more than just delicious tropical flavor. They are rich in vitamins A and C, potassium, beta-carotene and fiber, making them a rich source of nutrients. As delicious as they are, they're a fat-free, cholesterol-free treat. And is a good source of fiber, which has been shown to reduce high cholesterol levels.
It begins to bear fruit when it is about 4 feet tall (Figure 5,6).
If you're in zone 9-11 you can plant it in the ground. In colder areas just plant it in a container and bring inside for the winter. (Figure 6).
You will receive 1 plant approximately 11 inches tall with healthy roots planted in a 4 inch pot. (Figures 1, 2, 3). It is bred from the Hawaiian papaya in Figure 4.
After receiving the package, please open the bag and remove the plants as soon as possible. Please soak it in water for 5 minutes. Then, repot it in an 8-inch pot, water it again, and place it in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight to allow it to recover. You can then plant it in a place with full sunlight.
