Kit contains ONE 4 LB bag with grain and bulk substrate to provide plenty of nutrients, moisture, and support matrix for heavy flushes. Best of all, the bag can double as its own fruiting chamber, allowing for great yields with no additional space, materials, or setup required!

Inside this large 4 pound bag fitted with an injection port and 0.22 uM filter patch, is nearly an entire QUART (1.5 pints) of sterilized whole oat grain spawn beneath a thick layer of bulk substrate made of organic coco coir, rice hulls, and mineral supplements that has been perfectly hydrated and well-suited for a wide range of gourmet mushroom species.

Just give the injection port a wipe with alcohol and inject your live culture directly into the grain section, then watch it grow! Please note that these bags are not supplied with culture, you will need to provide your own. A live liquid culture is intended as the inoculant of choice.

Depending on your culture strength, chosen species, or growing conditions, you should begin to see mycelium spreading through the grain in about 14 days. Once the grain is colonized with the mycelium, simply break up the STILL-SEALED bag and massage the grain into the rest of the substrate, then allow it to continue colonizing until the whole block is permeated with mycelium. At this point, the bag is ready to initiate fruiting according to your selected culture!

The substrate inside is designed for a light aerated composition, allowing your culture to breathe, ensuring vigorous growth, and contains all the moisture with micro-nutrients needed to support huge flushes.

Substrate is composed of: Organic Coco Coir, Rice Hulls, & Minerals

Suitable species for this substrate include (but are not limited to):

- Agaricus Species (Button Mushrooms)

- Morels (for sclerotia formation)

Bags are guaranteed to be sterile and will be checked for defects before shipping. Some mixing of ingredients may occur during shipping. As long as you are able to direct your culture to a portion of the grain, this will not affect the performance of the bag. Bags are intended for immediate use with inoculation via a live culture.

Any such indication will result in no sale. Any communication at any point before or after purchase indicating illicit use will immediately void any warranty, refund, return, replacement, or claim of defect, and buyer will be blocked from future purchases.

Warranty Guarantee: Bags are provided sterile upon arrival, but buyer voids all warranty, refund, return, replacement, or claim of defect immediately upon inoculation in any manner. It is the buyer's responsibility to inspect the item upon arrival and determine suitability prior to inoculation. The act of inoculating is itself an assertion that you approve of the item and its condition. If your bag arrives damaged or is otherwise compromised due to shipping or production defect, we will provide a free replacement after photographic proof of defect is provided, including a picture of the injection port. To ensure sterility upon arrival we advise a waiting period of 5-7 days before use. While we guarantee viability of the bag, due to innumerable reasons far beyond our control (e.g. culture viability, technique, environmental variables, etc.) we do not guarantee individual success and "lack of growth" will not by itself be considered sufficient cause for refund or replacement.
