Garden State Bulb Wild About Allium Mixed flower bulbs are stunning, easy to grow, and imported from The Netherlands. Bulbs are carefully nurtured and hand-selected by expert growers, measure 4-5” (10-12cm) in circumference, and should feel firm to the touch. Plant these bulbs in fall and watch them explode into hundreds of tiny florets in spring, clustered together as a large sphere. Plant a few in small spaces for a surprisingly dramatic effect. Winter hardy, resistant to deer, and attractive to pollinators, it’s easy to see why alliums are a beloved springtime favorite. Mature blooms measure 4-6” across, perching atop 24-36” stems. This mixture of allium bulbs contains an assortment of color varieties where each mixed package is different and will contain a variety of alliums. Planting Instructions: Plant allium bulbs in the fall when the ground cools and before the first hard frost. Outside temperature should be about 65 degrees Fahrenheit or cooler. Select a well-drained location that receives full sun to partial shade. Dig a hole 6-8" deep in loosened soil and place bulbs in the hole. Bulbs should be spaced about 3-4” apart. Plant them in the ground with their pointy ends up. Cover with soil and water well so the soil above the bulb settles.
