FAQ What if a plant outgrows its space? You can trim the plant or let it grow freely. We view our terrariums as living experiments so we encourage you to let your plants grow naturally, especially in larger terrariums where there’s more room. My terrarium is foggy—what should I do? Fogging is a natural part of the terrarium’s ecosystem, it means it’s alive and well. This fog is condensation, just like rain in nature. If you want less fog you can move the terrarium to a slightly less sunny spot or open the door for 15 minutes to let some water evaporate. How often should I water the terrarium? Once sealed a closed terrarium retains water so you don’t need to water it often. It can go a long time without needing any additional water. Is it safe? Yes, our materials are safe for kids, teens and adults. We ensure our jars are lead free and use eco friendly materials in our packaging. We will minimize plastic use as much as possible in the near future. How does the terrarium bring the outdoors in?
